Job Description

Important Responsibilities

  • Employee Guidance and Coaching:
    Guide and coach employees to deliver top-notch service to BMO customers.
  • Customer Needs Assessment:
    Understand customer needs to provide sales and service that benefit them.
  • Financial Advice:
    Advise customers on products and strategies to meet their financial goals.
  • Referrals:
    Identify and refer customers to other business groups within the bank.
  • Sales and Service Support:
    Support sales and service activities to meet strategic goals and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Loan Origination (U.S. Only)

  • Act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by various regulations, including Regulation Z and the S.A.F.E. Act.
  • Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry is required.
  • A criminal background check and credit history evaluation are necessary.

    Understand customer needs and provide strategic advice.
  • Cold Calling:
    Conduct cold calls to develop new customer relationships.
  • Community Networking:
    Build a network in the community to enhance the bank’s visibility.
  • Customer Issues:
    Resolve customer issues using knowledge of bank services.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Business Planning:
    Build and implement the branch business plan.
  • Stakeholder Alignment:
    Ensure alignment between stakeholders.
  • Sales and Service Performance:
    Monitor performance and implement action plans to close gaps.
  • Strategic Problem Solving:
    Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Communication:
    Communicate goals and plans to achieve financial and customer service targets.

Qualifications REQUIRED

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Supervisory or __ management experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of market trends and product offerings.
  • Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and applicable regulations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Salary

  • Pay Range: $56,000 – $104,000 __ per year
  • Pay Type: Salaried
