Islamabad Police Jobs and Punjab Police Jobs: How to Apply and General Instructions

Mandatory Requirements:

Candidates who pass the written and skill tests must come with the following original documents to the interview center:

  2. CNIC issued by NADRA
  3. Domicile Certificate
  4. Two passport-sized photographs with a blue background
  5. Affidavit countersigned by the District Coordination Officer (DCO) if applying under the minorities (Non-Muslims) quota

General Instructions to Apply Jobs Opportunities

  1. Apply Online: Submit applications online via www.npftas.pk or www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk within 15 days of the advertisement.
  2. Application Fee: Pay Rs.1500/- (Rs.1000 for Islamabad Police Character/Verification Fee and Rs.500 for Recruitment/Documentation Processing Fee).
  3. Multiple Posts: If applying for more than one post, pay the fee for each post separately.
  4. Payment Method: Pay the fee through 1Link 1Bill using any Bank/ATM/Internet Banking/Easy Paisa/Jazz Cash/U Paisa.
  5. Application Submission: Do not submit applications by hand, incomplete, late, or via courier/email.
  6. Correct Information: Provide accurate information. False information may lead to legal action under section 420/468/471 PPC with imprisonment up to seven years.
  7. Affidavit Submission: Submit an affidavit about non-involvement in any criminal case at the interview. False affidavits will disqualify candidates from future police jobs and may result in legal action.
  8. Transgender Applicants: Transgender persons can apply based on their self-perceived gender identity as per the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018 and the gender mentioned in their CNIC.
  9. Government Employees: Eligible government employees may apply through the proper channel.
  10. Family Claim Basis: Provide complete documentation of the family claim, such as pension book and retirement order, at the interview.
  11. Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per Federal Government Rules, counted from the application closing date.
  12. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written and skill tests.
  13. Interview: Candidates who pass the written and skill tests will be called for an interview.
  14. IT Training: Candidates for posts at Sr.No. 1, 4 & 5 must complete the mandatory IT Training Course of the National Information Technology Board (NITB) before the probation period ends.
  15. Separate Applications: Apply separately for each post if applying for more than one.
  16. Verification: Verification of character and academic background will be conducted for selected candidates. Any false information or criminal record will lead to immediate cancellation of selection, dismissal from service, and legal action.
  17. Examination Centers: Examination center details are available on the ICT Police website. ICT Police reserves the right to designate centers.
  18. Test Stages: Passing a test qualifies candidates for the next stage. Failing any test disqualifies them from further stages.
  19. Medical Examination: Final selection requires a complete medical examination by the Federal Government’s medical board/civil surgeon. Candidates with Hepatitis B & C or other chronic ailments will be disqualified.
  20. Acceptance of Rules: Selected candidates must accept the rules/regulations governing conduct, discipline, promotion, retirement, and other related matters.
  21. No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for written, physical/endurance, skill tests, and interviews.
  22. Updates: Candidates will receive updates via the application portal, SMS, or email.
  23. Security Clearance: Successful candidates must pass security clearance before joining Islamabad Police.
  24. Right to Modify: ICT Police reserves the right to modify/cancel the number of posts, advertisement, or recruitment process at any stage.
  25. Alternative Application: Candidates can also apply through the Islamabad Capital Police website www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
